About

Tina Eisenbeis studied at the New York Studio School with Frederic Thursz, Jean Detheux, and David Reed; she was also assistant to Milton Resnick.

Tina has been printmaking since 2003, when she started etching with Vijay Kumar and Fred Mershimer at Manhattan Graphics Center. Her imagery is drawn from many sources including illuminated manuscripts and, more recently,19th century engravings. She has also worked with blind people for many years and takes inspiration from them and their daily lives. She participated in a printmaking symposium in 2010 in Gaspoltshofen, Austria with Josef Brescher, among others, and her etchings have been exhibited in various shows in New York City.

A former Member of The Painting Center, Tina’s paintings have been included in shows in Barcelona, Dublin, Bogata and New York. Her art is represented in a number of collections, including the Tucson Museum of Art.
